President Bush Throws World Series Ceremonial First Pitch

Former President George W. Bush, accompanied by his father Former President George H. W. Bush, throws out the first pitch of game 4 of the World Series in Texas 10-31-10.

The 41st and 43rd presidents were joined by Nolan Ryan on the mound for the ceremonial first pitch.

George H.W. Bush drew the loudest cheer. George W. Bush quickly threw one to Ryan, then jumped in the cart and drove his dad to the owner’s box.

Former first ladies Barbara and Laura Bush also attended.

Fans began to chant “USA … USA… USA.”

Major League Baseball says it is the first time two former presidents have attended a World Series game.
