Obama ‘shout-out’ Instead Of Sympathy

After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the world watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. Obama (our Commander In Chief) was notified immediately. Obama (our Commander In Chief) was scheduled to speak at the Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian affairs. You see what Obama (our Commander In Chief) decided to place before addressing the nations largest military base that has suffered 12 dead and 30 injured by a soldier that was upset because he was scheduled for deployment this month. Obama (our Commander In Chief) chose to offer a “shout-out” to “Dr. Joe Medicine Crow instead of word of of sympathy and compassion. Was this out of touch with America and shooting situation? Our Commander In Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, umm, umm, umm!

  1. I love how the video you chose to post ends before his speech, and before he even started talking about the shooting.

Who is to say that he didn’t give out his sympathies at the 2 minute mark. We will never know from that video which ended right after he began mentioning the shooting.

congratulations, you are now just as bad as the standard media, twisting things and showing just barely enough to make it seem like what your saying is true. If you are gonna criticize someone show all the facts or don’t bother. I watched the speech, it was a very thoughtful and sympathetic speech, stop twisting things around to give the man a bad name, there are plenty of things you don’t have to twist to do that.

birdwingfx, I posted what Obama said in my post “Obama Remarks On Fort Hood Shooting” this post was directed for the shootings only, nothing about the shout out. I wanted to post this the same day but decided to focus the shootings. What you are looking for is in that post. You will see that I posted Obama speaking about the shootings only. Check it out, don’t be a stranger.

Empty I think you have been fair concerning Obama and the Fort Hood shootings. Birdwingfx you didn’t look at all Empty’s postings here. Empty your “Mental Stress” was a great post, great remarks. I’m seeing you different also.

James Martes, thanks. I don’t think Birdwingfx saw that post. Like I said in the comments in Mental Stress On U.S. Soldiers, lets focus on the soldiers and the problems they have dealing with decisions made in Washington. Let’s try to prevent the rise in suicide among active soldiers and get help to these guys. Thanks, don’t be a stranger.

  2. My apologies for jumping to conclusions. I have a bad habit of not looking around before I post comments.

you did however post “Obama (our Commander In Chief) chose to offer a “shout-out” to “Dr. Joe Medicine Crow instead of word of of sympathy and compassion.”

I guess that’s what lead me to post what I did.

birdwingfx, thank you. I think, that day was not the day to be attacking Obama on pity issues. TODAY IS! (just joking). Thanks for stopping by and reading some of my post. Don’t Be A Stranger.

You forgot to mention one little detail. His shout out to Dr. Joe Medicine Crow said he was a “Congressional Medal of Honor” winner. In fact…he was a Congressional Gold Medal winner and a Presidential Medal of Freedom winner. The two highest awards given to civilians. Obama gave him the Presidential Medal of Freedom earlier this year himself. You’d think he’d know what medals he gave the man. But no, another blatant disregard for the traditions of the greatest Armed Forces in the world, to which he is supposed to command.

Here are my thoughts on the matter…

These genius words from someone who no doubt supported Mr “Nukular” President Bush – “to which he was supposed to be in control of” GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!
