  2. Ok Steve, I said the same thing, this is a huge topic. It could be the ladies that are the prime factors of excitement here. Both did something that only watchful eyes would have noticed. Trust me, If I would have seen this, I would have paid not attention to it, but with those that know the norm… or protocol this became an issue to be looked into.

  3. I hope that Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth has appreciated the gesture, surely of affection by Michelle. I’m sure instead that she didn’t appreciate the Berlusconi’s loutish act, whose I have a lot of shame as italian man.
    At least I have no fault, neither to be italian (born by chance) neither to have given him a vote.

  7. Universal Health Care has to be stopped! The President has said he wants to sign it by July 31! One of the most critical decisions our nation’s going to make and it’s being rushed through the House and Senate!

    Where is the resistance? Where are the providers speaking up against it? How can we get it debated and examined in Congress in the manner a proposal this monumental needs to be?

  10. Steve, the problem with what M.O. did is that it shows how she and that husband of hers can’t even follow simple protocol.

    The Queen however took the high road by not letting the stupidity of America bring her down.

It just amazes me that any and seemingly all bizarre actions and misstatements by this administration and the Democratic party continue to get a pass from the media and Liberals in general. It continues to be difficult to convince people to look at the other side of the coin but I, for one, will continue to try.

  16. Just happened by here, appreciate your passion for truth. My comment, though, is not so much on your politics, per se, but on the fact that most liberal replies I see to this topic, anywhere, are always filled with anger and profanity. Can’t they ever leave a reasonable comment, one that doesn’t require the use of symbol keys and exclamation marks?

  17. restoringhome, thank you. I get the angry comments also. When they are to extreme I don’t approve it. Most are kind and I try to be as polite as possible. I’m not here to make enemies. I have been to some sites also that has to use “symbol keys”, and I’m always attacked for bringing a different opinion to a discussion. Thanks, don’t be a stranger.

  22. Propel, politics no, his personal life yes. I can’t remember the postings, but I have stated many times, Obama does a great job as a father to his children, and a husband to his wife and I give him respect for that.
    Presidents come and go, I just have to deal with Obama’s policies for the next three years. Read my profile and the sidebar “The Forgotten Role” Presidents need to follow their duty written in the constitution. Thanks for stopping by, don’t be a stranger.

  24. I only came here for the summaries of H.R. 3962. Thanks for posting links to them as I’m sure they’ll be helpful, given neither side will get what they thought they would if health care reform passes.

    While I commend you for not making a political response to a comment posted on your blog entry, “Mental Stress on US Soldiers,” a lot of your other blogs and topics seem to be hell-bent on distorting and defaming the president.

    There are serious issues facing our country, and nit-picking everything Obama does and throwing names and labels at him or his administration don’t contribute anything of meaning to the national dialogue. The only people attracted by “arguments” such as yours are people who tend to agree with you, and the rest are left wondering about the rationale behind them. Believe me, the man isn’t above reproach, but anti-Obama speech without real arguments to support them smacks of jealousy and irrational fear.

  27. Good morning ES-
    I want to make sure I have this right on what is happening today in the Senate on the Healthcare Senate bill. They will have a cloture vote to proceed which requires 60 votes. If successful, they will debate but at any time they can call for a cloture vote to end debate. This also requires 60 votes. Then the vote goes to the floor and only a simple majority is needed. After that the House Bill and Senate Bill are conferenced and a final bill appears only requiring a simple majority by both houses before being sent to the POTUS for signing into law. Please let me know if I have this right.

I am so upset with hearing such horse shit from Rush Limbaugh about Haiti… the world is doing is trying to hard to help them and this has nothing to do about politics… What does he say now about Bush joining Clinton and raising money… ? Has his opinion changed just because Bush is involved..? With the world is such difficult circumstances I find it very difficult as a Canadian to sit night after night watching the Republican Party (everyone considers Rush Limbough the mouth of the Replubican Party.. or at least the party agrees to what is being said as they don’t critize him )do everything in its power to create such negative, anti racist comments time after time. This is a time in history where everyone needs to work together. The Republican party should man up and work together with the Democratic Party to get the USA out of this mess that was basically caused in the USA and spread to the rest of the world. They should be working as diligently as ever to help not hinder. For some reason they are absolutely scared out of their skivy’s of the Democratic Party…as a Canadian watching this I can’t see why anyone would want to be attached to such a party. If I am just a small segement of the opinions of the rest of the world about this party then you can imagine that not only are you damaging any good well the USA can garner but you are literally destroying your own party because one day people will wake up and see what the Rush Limbough’s of the world have created…

    His increase publicity at any cost is creating more harm in the USA then you can imagine. He has every right to his opinions but for some reason FOX news & alot of reporting that I can only assume is anit Democratic dont’ care one bit about the damage such contempt can cause. Do you not care what the rest of the world thinks of you..

  33. Hear, hear. I live abroad and am a US citizen. Oh, I earn under 91k a year, so have no motive to give up US citizenship when subject to double-taxation beyond $91k — yes the IRS taxes you _again_ if your taxed income abroad exceeds $91k. I was driving thru the Dakotas on a business trip recently, hours of open prairie and amazing xenophoic crap blaring out Limbaugh-style from the radio on several stations. Luckily, I am a basketball fan, so could take comfort in the NCAA Final Four coverage and dodge the flame-broadcasters.

    Absolutely mind-blowing in its ability to go uncriticized by the mainstream:

    I found your blog/website by chance very early this morning (4th October 2010 GMT) while surfing and I commented on an article titled ‘Obama admits he is a muslim’ or something similar. I was kind of hoping that you would post my comment as I would have liked to have seen some kind of response top even if that response was negative.

    When I searched for the article only a few minutes ago (16:19 GMT) I could find no such article nor could I find my comment. I can only assume my comment did not pass by the ‘moderator’, but where is the article? I would at least like to find that and read more of the comments.
