I really don’t know what kind of traffic come from the buttons. From my dashboard most of the visits come from ‘Search Engine Terms’ Most of the buttons have rss feeders from the site, they are the same postings. Most of the links connected to this blog are from message boards and other blogs/websites. I do click on the Referrer links on the dashboard to see what people are saying to get here. Very few are from the buttons.

Don’t be a stranger!

To be fair, MJ became white shortly after thriller, so you can’t blame the black community for dropping him. This might be racist, but I kind of liked him better when he was still black, too.

And then there’s the whole post mortem popularity thing. That happens all the time. I think it has something to do with feeling guilty about not liking the person while they were alive. In MJ’s case, there’s a lot of guilt surrounding jokes that may or may not have been told, surrounding quotes like “Why can’t you share your bed? The most loving thing to do is to share your bed with someone.” Personally, I still think those jokes are funny, but many people feel guilty about it, so they pretend they liked him better than they really did.

By the way, do those buttons on the side really help you get links? I see “stumble it!”, “fuelmyblog”, and “linkreferral”, and I’m wondering if they work. Thanks.
