A billboard in suburban Denver compares President Barack Obama to a terrorist. Wolf Interstate Leasing in Wheat Ridge, Colorado put up a billboard insinuating that President Obama is somehow tied to Jihadists and the Fort Hood shootings.
The billboard shows a cartoonish Obama wearing a turban and says, “PRESIDENT or JIHAD?” Underneath the president’s image is a big yellow square with the phrase, “BIRTH CERTIFICATE, PROVE IT!” The words “WAKE UP AMERICA! REMEMBER FT. HOOD” appear at the bottom. The sign was created by artist David Lee.

The Army is doubling the number of mental health specialists in Afghanistan to address soldiers’ psychological troubles due to combat stress. The Army had about 43 behavioral health personnel in Afghanistan, one for every 1,100 soldiers. The Army is working to improve that ratio to one for every 700 soldiers, and to assign more mental health providers to brigades and battalions. About 30 percent of soldiers who have deployed three times or more meet the criteria for having a psychological problem, compared with about 14 percent on the first deployment and 18 percent on the second deployment. 65 mental health specialists will join 43 specialists in Afghanistan in an effort to reach more of the 68,000 U.S. troops.

After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the world watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. Obama (our Commander In Chief) was notified immediately. Obama (our Commander In Chief) was scheduled to speak at the Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian affairs. You see what Obama (our Commander In Chief) decided to place before addressing the nations largest military base that has suffered 12 dead and 30 injured by a soldier that was upset because he was scheduled for deployment this month. Obama (our Commander In Chief) chose to offer a “shout-out” to “Dr. Joe Medicine Crow instead of word of of sympathy and compassion. Was this out of touch with America and shooting situation? One of the 20 finalists in health care video contest run by Barack Obama’s campaign arm features a mural of an America flag splattered with health care graffiti until it’s covered completely by black paint. In the video you hear the sound of a heart monitor pumping and then flat-lining. Words such as “pre-existing conditions,” “homeless” and “death panel” ultimately obliterate the flag, which reappears on screen seconds later with the words “Health Will Bring Our Country Back to Life” on the blue field where the 50 stars usually are. According to the Organizing for American Web site, the 20 finalists in the “Health Reform Video Challenge” were chosen by a panel of “qualified” Democratic National Committee “employee judges.” Democrats love “defacing the flag,” Especially President Barack Hussein Obama, remember this video;

The president’s overall job approval rating was 56 percent in early October, with 34 percent disapproving, and 10 percent saying they don’t know. Approval dropped twelve points since April, when 68 percent approved. Obama has lost ground with independents and Republicans. In the October CBS News Poll, just 20 percent of Republicans approved, down from 31 percent in April. Most recently 52 percent of independents approved, down 13 points from 65 percent. 91 percent Democrats approved in April; 87 percent do so now.

Other recent presidents have experienced drops in their approval ratings at similar points in their presidencies. There was a twelve point drop in Ronald Reagan’s approval rating by the fall of his first year in office, and he too was grappling with a bad economy. In April 1981, 67 percent approved of the job President Reagan was doing; by September approval had fallen to 55 percent, with 33 percent disapproving. President Jimmy Carter’s approval rating dropped nine points, from 64 percent in April 1977 to 55 percent by October. President Bill Clinton’s stayed about the same: 49 percent approved in May 1993, as did 48 percent in October.
Of course, other presidents have gained ground in their approval ratings during their first year in office. President George W. Bush, who has received both the highest and the lowest approval rating of any modern president, saw his approval rating soar to 90 percent in October 2001, just after the terrorist attacks.

Minister Louis Farrakhan was in Memphis, TN telling his followers not to become complacent by Barack Obama’s election and to work to repair communities. Farrakhan said, “This can pacify you and lull you to sleep in a dangerous time, making you think that we live in a post-racial America—when the opposite is true.” His speech was billed as a plan to focus on reducing crime. Farrakhan said, “He’s the American president, not the black president.” Adding, “You may not be pleased with everything he’s saying and doing, but you have to understand that he’s been voted in to take care of the affairs of a nation, and not yours and mine particularly.”
This is a different story Farrakhan was preaching when he addressed his followers February 24, 2008. Obama talks “the Messiah is absolutely speaking.” Farrakhan said of Obama, “You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn’t care anything about. That’s a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking.” Farrakhan said, “Barack Obama to me, is a herald of the Messiah. Barack Obama is like the trumpet that alerts you something new, something better is on the way.” Farrakhan pointed out that the man Nation of Islam followers refer to as “the Savior,” Fard Muhammad, had a black father and a white mother, just as Obama did. Farrakhan suggested he would keep a low profile in the campaign, despite his enthusiasm for Obama. Farrakhan went on to point out that when religious scholars talk about Christ or the Islamic Mahdi, they never talk in racial terms – again, pointing to Obama’s mixed racial background. Farrakhan has said. “This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better.”
March 1, 2009 Farrakhan was at it again. Nation of Islam Leader Farrakhan Pushes ‘Obama Energy’ For three hours Farrakhan praised now President where Farrakhan used the election as a launching point for celebration, intellectual discussion and a call to action. Farrakhan said, “There’s an energy among our people that has never been seen before, never produced by any man or organization before.” Even when Obama distanced himself from Farrakhan, his assisting minister Ishmael Muhammad said, “He did not want to say anything the media could use to hurt his (Obama’s) chances to become the president.” Farrakhan told followers to be prepared to make sacrifices as Obama begins work on the faltering economy. Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam have vigorously tried to cozy up to Obama for almost three years and Obama has kept his distance.
Now what has changed Farrakhan’s mind about Obama? Obama’s administration has constantly released statements condemning some of Farrakhan’s past statements. Obama has done the same with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and his controversy. Now you see why Farrakhan is saying, don’t be pacified by Obama’s election? He’s Mad! There was one positive moment at the convention, Former Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton took advantage of the event to gain support for his Democratic primary challenge to U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen, a white congressman who has represented the mostly black House district for two terms. Great move Herenton!

The government of Libya released 88 veteran al-Qaeda and affiliated terrorists from Abu Slim prison. The Foundation, in a joint statement with lawyers’ groups, said: “45 members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) and 43 members of other jihadist groups were freed.”
The Gaddafi Foundation, headed by Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s son Seif al-Islam, confirmed the planned closure of Abu Slim, saying the remaining inmates would be transferred to another jail. The building will be destroyed in the next few days. The news couldn’t have come at a worse time, with the Obama administration having previously announced that Libya would be receiving $2.5 million in foreign aid, of which $400,000 will go to the “Khadhaffi Foundation.”
“The Kadhafi Foundation said it is “working to strengthen peace in Libya,” emphasizing the “big success” of the dialogue with the LIFG, formed in secret in Afghanistan in the early 1990s and which came to public notice in 1995 when it launched an armed campaign against Kadhafi’s regime. Al-Qaeda announced in November 2007 that the LIFG had joined the jihadist network.”
