A 6-year-old Colorado boy named Falcon Heene was accidentally carried away, by himself, in an experimental aircraft made by his parents that could have taken him as high as 10,000 feet.
After hours in the air, the balloon landed successfully and was found empty; Falcon Heene was not inside it. Police are investigating whether the boy may have fallen out before landing, or whether he never got into the craft to begin with.
Look at the jobs mentioned, rebuilding crumbling roads and bridges, modernizing schools, building wind farms and solar panels; fuel-efficient cars and the alternative energy technologies that can free us from our dependence on foreign oil and keep our economy competitive in the years ahead. I’m sure many computer programmers would love shoveling dirt, lifting beams, and construction work.
He said he would be welcome to ideas and suggestions from both sides of the aisle. We already know that was a lie! Retirees are watching their life savings disappear and students are seeing their college dreams deferred. These Americans need help, and they need it now. But they will have to wait till 2011. Why was he elected President?
