We love when our people love our leaders. But for crying out loud why sing tributes to them in this way – worshiping them like they are Gods. We know what Hitler did and who knows what Obama is capable of doing. People defend Obama in the name of liberalism.

I hate these tributes. The American video was done in black history month. I am not sure those kids did anything for the black race.

The President of the United States is the head of state and head of government of the United States and is the highest political official in the United States by influence and recognition. Among powers and responsibilities, Article II of the U.S. Constitution charges the President to “faithfully execute” federal law, makes the President commander-in-chief of the armed forces, allows the President to nominate executive and judicial officers with the advice and consent of the Senate, and allows the President to grant pardons or reprieves. A commander-in-chief is the commander of a nation’s military forces or significant element of those forces. In the latter case, the force element may be defined as those forces within a particular region or those forces which are associated by function. In the United States, the oath of office for the President of the United States is specified in the U.S. Constitution (Article II, Section 1): I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
