Lockerbie Bomber Released
Remember when President Barack Hussein Obama triggered debates by saying that Washington should be prepared to speak with its enemies. Remember when Obama was in L’Aquila during the G8 summit, shaking hand with Libyan Leader Moamer Kadhafi.
Well….Libyan bomber Abdelbaset Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi was released from a Scottish prison and was greeted in Libya by cheering crowds. al-Megrahi was convicted for the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 which was carrying mostly American passengers to New York, blew up as it flew over Scotland in 1988. All 259 people aboard and 11 on the ground died.
Relations between Libya and the United States have been back and forward over the past 30 years. But America’s Muslim President President Barack Hussein Obama seems to see different with his hand shakes with Kadhafi. al-Megrahi returned home with an official delegation that included Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi’s son Seif al-Islam.
Former Libyan intelligence officer al-Megrahi was convicted on all 259 counts of murder. He insisted he was innocent. al-Megrahi was imprisoned in 2001, sentenced to a minimum of 27 years in a Scottish prison. A 2007 review of the case opened the round for him to file an appeal against the sentence.
The group was greeted by hundreds of flag-waving Libyans when they landed in Tripoli to the sound of patriotic songs ringing from loudspeakers. Upon al-Megrahi’s release FBI Director Robert Mueller sent a letter to Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill, who cited compassionate grounds in his decision to let Abdel Baset al-Megrahi return to Libya because he has prostate cancer and was given only months to live by British doctors.

Obama slams Libyan welcome for Lockerbie bomber
al-Megrahi was welcomed with celebrations, remember he was convicted for the Pan Am Bombing. Mueller says releasing the convicted bomber “gives comfort to terrorists around the world who now believe that regardless of the quality of the investigation … the terrorist will be freed by one man’s exercise of ‘compassion.” President Barack Hussein Obama tried to weigh in saying the US condemnation of Libya’s welcome for convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi, amid warnings about the future of ties with Tripoli, but you were so happy to be in the presence of Moamer Kadhafi a few months ago President Barack Hussein Obama, make up your mind are you going to be buddies with the enemies or not. Will the MSM address this….NO!!
