The City Of Chicago Closed
The City of Chicago was closed for business Monday August 17th as part of the 2009 budget, three reduced-service days are planned for 2009.
In addition to reduced service days, all non-union employees were asked to take a series of furlough days and unpaid holidays, and most non-sworn union employees agreed to similar unpaid time off.
Five of the top six employers in Chicago are government.

We’re talking about Libraries, Trash Collections, City Hall, Health Clinics, Police, Fire fighters and Paramedics, most city employees are off… without pay.

They have two more closing planned, the Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. These closing project a savings of $8.3 million.. What is to be expected if Obama’s Health Care Reform is approved and cities all over are closed. This is Obama home town, Chicago. Out of all the cities to close Obama Base Town is closed, America this is a warning of how the country will follow.
