Obama, Gates, Crowley: Who Acted Stupidly?
After following the Henry Louis Gates story, I wanted to get most of the facts about this before I posted. Obama made the statement “Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof he was in own home,” Gates’ arrest followed a report of a possible burglary. A woman apparently saw Gates force the front door and called police. Police came and demanded that Gates show identification. Gates was arrested shortly afterward for alleged disorderly conduct, a charge that was dropped.

Gates – acting disorderly
Crowley – for not walking away
Obama – for commenting before the facts
Gates had a nasty attitude toward Crowley. Gates only see racial issues anyway, thats why he made those statements at Crowley. Gates is the stupid one here, and Obama should have kept his mouth shut. If I were Crowley, I probably would have done the same, lock this big mouth up.
Gates was a total ASS-HOLE, I would have arrested his ass too.
I DON’T THINK OBAMA SHOULD HAVE MADE THAT STATEMENT. HE COULD HAVE MADA A STATEMENT OF NO COMMENTS TILL ALL THE FACTS WERE IN. THIS IS A SHOWING OF HOW OBAMA IS QUICK TO JUDGE THE UNKNOWN, HE IS A LAWYER RIGHT. THIS CASE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED BY THE MAYOR OF THAT CITY, NOT OBAMA. OBAMA WOULD BEEN THE HERO OF THIS IF HE WOULD HAVE WAITED AND THEN OFFERED BOTH MEN THE BEER TALKS TO DEFUSE THE PROBLEM. I BLAME ALL THREE

K-Cee, Gates (from the report) did have an nasty attitude. I have been in places where cops have asked to see ID for verification white and black. Show ID and keep on, we don’t have to make issues out of everything. Thanks K-Cee, don’t be a stranger here.
