The auto companies were willing to make a deal after they saw the handwriting on the wall, meaning Obama owns you. I knew this was in the making after seeing the automobile industry sucked up by Obama and his greedy administration under the umbrella of ‘Automobile Bailout.’ Take over the company and run it the way you feel, right or wrong. Now look at what Obama has placed on the table, new national auto emissions and fuel-efficiency standards. Remember with Chrysler the U.S. government will get an 8% share of the new cars.
The Treasury Department will be able to select four independent directors for the company’s new board. Carmakers got orders from Obama to make their product lines in 2016 average 35.5 miles per gallon. The requirement now is 25.1 mpg. The rules also will raise the cost of manufacturing new vehicles, and Chrysler LLC is in bankruptcy, General Motors Corp may be joining them soon.
The cost of making a new vehicle will increase by $1800. Obama will be giving even more of our billions of tax dollars to the automakers to help them meet these new rules. Obama… no one is buying these cars now, what makes you think they will be buying these overprices, slow ass Obamamobile five years from now. This new proposal will force automakers to make and sell cars that get 45, 55, and 65 mpg. If you love muscle cars, is over. New 2010 V6 Mustang get close to 20 mpg, the GT and the GT-500 ranges in the low teens. Look at the status of the Automobile Industry.

and anyone can come to the conclusion, your plan is not working, why add gas to the fire! Oh I forgot, this is Obama….yes we can!
Green groups applauded the administration saying this is a significant step toward addressing global warming and achieving energy independence. Coming from California, im not surprised, look at the current state of California…say no more. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger you have become Obama’s ‘girlie man’, Nancy Pelosi has really done a makeover job on you…Shame, Shame, Shame.
These “green” cars, all-electric vehicles, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles did not saved the Automobile Industry in the past, now Obama is trying to trick the country by adding his two cents in. America has been talking about a better fuel-efficient cars for decades. The automakers had no choice in the matter. Since they came running to Obama for a bailout, they are now owned by Obama. This is nothing new, but the Obama Kool-Aid Drinkers wants to make it seem that Obama has a plan. Here’s a plan, stop dangling bailout money in front of companies and leave them alone.
